…comes this time each year

Well, it was my stupid birthday again. It’s really not that bad, I just get weird about being old.

Anyway I went with my family to Max’s Seafood in Gloucester. I think I’d been there once ages ago but don’t remember so well in my dotage. It was a pretty cool old building. The food was all great as well.

My standard arugula, goat cheese and fruits type salad.

Steamers in - if I recall this all - garlic, butter, white wine and thyme. Delicious, if on the sinewy side.

Spring Roll

Tuna Spring Roll. Sushi style. OM NOM NOM. Tuna was great. Sauce was great. My dad had his wasabi.

Cedar-plank salmon. I did not expect to be served on the actual cedar plank! 'Twas tasty (in tribute to the cranberries I'm copying the Ocean Spray commercial guy).

Apparently we got all foods that started with the letter S. Alert Sesame Street!

This did not, but it’s hilarious and cute:

A gift from my grandma. Adorbs!
