Don’t laugh at me, I like to make myself brunch on occasion. With the summer produce going, I ended up with a lot of fruit. My peaches and the raspberries I picked were getting soft, so I blended them up into sauce and put it (with honey and butter – Amish butter, even) on scones I baked and froze back when it was still cold out. The cantaloupe and blueberries were tossed with mint from my mint plant, and some local peach wine I bought at a tasting and didn’t actually like. It was perfect as a fruit dressing, though!
It was so good, I made completely inappropriate noises while eating. Luckily no one but the cat was around to hear me.
