I was slightly concerned when we went in and sat down. It’s a bit of a dive, which means that it could really turn out to be a hit or miss. I tend to love dive places — they usually have the best food (or the best beer).
This was incredible! It was spicy, savory, tender and crunchy, the rice was a perfect compliment (not sticky) and overall, oh so gooooood. The whole plate was just a little more than enough for this fatty (no doggie bag necessary). Of course, if I would have skipped the couple pieces of fried tofu or the salad with ginger dressing beforehand, this would have been a perfect portion.
