Light, yet quite satisfying…

Several years ago, I never thought I’d eat sushi, as I found the mere thought of eating raw fish disgusting(and, honestly I never thought these little rolls of rice, seaweed and fish would be enough to fill a fatty like me).  After being goaded into giving it a try by a coworker, I wondered why I waited so long to try it.  These days I try to eat sushi as often as I can, whether it be one of two locations near my hometown, or a sushi buffet in Deptford that I’ll most likely write about eventually.

One sushi restaurant I had gone far too long without visiting was Sakura Spring in Cherry Hill.  Thankfully, my partners in crime here at WHMF paid Sakura a visit recently, and it was everything I remembered it to be. The seaweed salad was delicious, and the sushi was perfectly done, with nice large cuts of Salmon, and a standout spicy tuna.  To top it off, after the meal they served us chilled chocolate dipped fortune cookies.  Yeah, I’d definitely say Sakura Spring won’t be waiting years to see me again.  I love good sushi far too much to not mix this location in as an option regularly.
